Frequently Asked Questions

Comprehensive Community Support Services are available to any of our clients who meet the criteria for either a severe emotional disturbance (SED) or a severe mental illness (SMI). SEDs are for individuals younger than 18, while SMIs are for anyone 18 years or older. CCSS is a supplemental service to our clients receiving therapy to provide additional support beyond what they receive through counseling.

The duration of CCSS varies depending on your individual needs and goals. We regularly evaluate progress and adjust our support plan accordingly. Many clients participate in our program for several months, developing new skills and building confidence.

Our integrated approach combines clinical expertise with practical life skills training. We help with everything from applying for WIC and Medicaid to making doctor’s appointments and filling out job applications.

If you struggle with daily tasks, feel isolated, or need mental health support, our CCSS resources can help. We’ll assess your needs and create a personalized plan to help you achieve greater independence and well-being.
